Gold Coast Day Trips

What better way to test our your new tyres than take a day trip around the Gold Coast. To be completely honest your trip to Bud’s Tyres may not your idea of a day off done right. However, we are here to change that with our list of best southern Gold Coast day trips. Start your day by checking your car into our store, yep… even on Saturday. This means you have the rest of the day to explore the listed destinations, just a short drive from Bud’s in Burleigh Heads.

Start your day with a coffee just up the road at Next Door Espresso. This establishment is brand new to the area and we couldn’t recommend it more. This space will really make you feel like you are on holiday.

If you are from the southern end of the Gold Coast you have probably spent hours wandering around James Street along the beach at Burleigh. If not… we highly recommend you spend an hour or so checking out all of the boutique shops.

Heading towards lunchtime only means one thing. It’s beer o’clock. For something different check out Burleigh Brewing Co or Black Hops Brewery for a quick drink. Don’t forget… you are driving!

OR…

Start your day with a coffee in Currumbin at Dust Temple. You have the choice of sitting in just about five different spaces pretty much all to yourself. This hidden gem is also home to an art gallery. Their neighbour, Gather Store, is a homewares store comparable to an art gallery itself.

Check out the rock pools at Currumbin Valley or Tallebudgera Valley. They are a bit of a way out but the drive itself is an adventure.

If you choose to take the Currumbin route you can stop by at Freeman’s Organic Farm to buy fresh produce or sit down and enjoy the view with a coffee or food.
