We are open 6 days a week, Monday through to Saturday. You can always refer to our Google Business profile for confirmation or public holiday updates. Currently we are open from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Saturday we are open 8:00 am – 1:00pm.

We are conveniently located on Ern Harley Drive in the Burleigh industrial estate. The shop is positioned within a 5 minute drive from Burleigh Heads, Burleigh Waters, Palm Beach, Miami, Varsity Lakes and Reedy Creek and a minute from the M1. We are parallel to Southport Burleigh Road and the M1 Highway, opposite the 4WD Supacentre. Our warehouse is next door to Gold Coast Patrols. Our address is 1/11 Ern Harley Drive, Burleigh Heads.

Walk-ins are available and we can often squeeze you in during the week. Outside of working hours and Saturdays it is crucial to make a booking. Regardless, we ask that you do make an appointment time so we can get your car done as quickly as possible and have time for an extra service at your request. Calling ahead can ensure we have the tyre you are after in-stock. It is possible we would have to turn away walk-ins due to a busy schedule during the week.

Sidewall markings refer to the tyre size and specifications. There is a lot of information online on how to read and translate this information. The first sequence of numbers refers to the width of tyre and is followed by the height. This may also include a letter at the beginning which indicates the type of vehicle such as P for passenger. This is often separated by a slash ( / ). The R and number to follow translates to the aspect ratio. Not all information may be relevant to you and the remaining characters usually suggest the load and speed rating.

This entirely relies on your tyre size, budget, driving style and personal preference. While tyres can look almost the same they serve a variety of different purposes. Price range can often determine unique features or application of advanced technology. Luckily you are spoilt for choice and there are countless options within budget to premium. With tyres you really can find the perfect fit. You may have a good idea of what you are looking for or want to stick with what you know but we always recommend having a conversation with us first. This allows us to find the best tyre whether that be a cheaper option for you that will do the same or a similar tyre that is more specified to your needs.

Generally a mid-range or premium tyre will give you a better tyre life. This can translate to the same price as a cheaper tyre as you are getting more time and distance for what you paid for. However, this is entirely dependent on your driving style.

Tyres conventionally should be replaced when the tread block is level with the wear bar. However, we strongly recommend along with every other tyre retailer in Australia to replace tyres a little bit earlier. Safety is everything and you don’t want to be delayed in booking in with us. As a general rule tyres should be throughly inspected yearly, and skimmed over every few months. Tyres last about 4 to 5 years but this is highly variable depending on a number of factors.
